International Healthcare Center (IHC) had organized CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training class for Embassy colleagues and their family on July 26, 2019. Cardiologist, Prof. Na, Snag Hun provided CPR training and AED training for the emergency situation. All participants practiced CPR and first aid using defibrillators.

Patients from Islamic country gather at the International Healthcare Center to celebrate “Eid al Fitr”, the holiday ends Ramadan, Islam’s holy month of fasting. Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) held the event on June 11, 2019 for overseas Muslim patients who are currently residing in Korea to treat their illnesses.
The event is part of diverse cultural experiences organized by the International Healthcare Center (IHC) that foreign patients who visited the hospital to celebrate “Eid al Fitr” that marks the end of Ramadan and its month of fasting. In their own country, they share sweets and food with their families, neighbors to celebrate. To respect their culture, IHC shares halal food and share the gifts with the patients.

Seoul National University Hospital International Healthcare Center participated in “2nd Gurng Mongol: Nadam Festival”, which was held on July 15th to celebrate the Mongolian traditional festival, Nadam, at Gwang Myeong public stadium.
At the event, hospital staff held a session to provide CPR safety education to Mongolian children and to conduct simple blood glucose and blood pressure measurement.
" I was deeply delighted and impressed by the medical staff at Seoul National University who wanted to respect the culture of other countries and actively communicate with them, “said a Mongolian who visited the event.
Also, one of the parents who participated in CPR safety education said, "I was worried when my children took safety education at school because of their poor language.
Meanwhile, Seoul National University Hospital is also making various efforts to inform Mongolian patients about the excellence of Korean medicine.
Suh Dong-in, a professor of the Pediatric department, visited Mongolia's National Pediatric Hospital in March this year to teach medicine and to provide Mongolian doctors with opportunities to train in the hospital. In June, Professor Kim Eun Ky of Internal Medicine and Professor Kim Su Yeon of Pediatric Neurology attended the conference “2018 Medical Korea in Mongolia” in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, to promote the excellence of Korean medicine.
